Personality:
Very friendly and gentle. He has a strong passion for his Pokemon and friends/family. He's easily caught off guard with surprises as he's very oblivious to a lot of things. He's not the most observant, but he can tell if there's something wrong with a Pokemon at least, though that's mostly from his work at daycares where he grew up at. Auren is fairly quick to open up to others, especially if they have something in common to talk about. If he gets started on a subject he's interested in, he can go on for hours talking. He can be very ambitious and headstrong about wanting to do and try new things, especially if they sound very fun and exciting! Because of this, he's a little reckless and with how little he pays attention to detail, he'll find himself between a rock and a hard place more often than not. It's happened before, and it's bound to happen again.

History:
Auren grew up in Striaton town, closer to the daycare side. Having a pretty average life with his mother and working father. Ever since a little kid, he wanted to be a trainer and explore the world and see all the Pokemon he could. Every time it was brought up to his mother, she'd always find some excuse for him not to. He loved his mother dearly, so he respected her wishes while he lived with her. As he went through school, he helped in the nearby daycares. Caring for the Pokemon and getting to learn about them and their needs. One day there, one of the other assistants brought in an injured Drilbur. It was strangely colored and seemed very skittish. Auren helped out with it a lot and tried to help it open up, if even at least to him. It eventually did and refused to leave his side from then on out. He ended up giving it a name and a Pokeball. Though more often than not, Auren just prefers to have his buddy out with him.
As Auren worked more and more with his new friend, his mother began to open up about the idea of him going out. Especially since he was getting older and there wasn't all too much she could do to stop him once he leaves home. She managed talking to him more and they both came to a middle ground of sorts. He was going to buy a small home nearby so he could easily stay in touch, but he would leave and do his work and follow his dreams. The only other thing his mother wanted before he left out was for him to have more companions to accompany him and keep him safe. He put some thought into it but didn't want to just grab the first Pokemon that came to him.
Over time though, another strangely colored Pokemon came into his life. A Solrock. It's somewhat blinding to look at, but it seems very stern about keeping everyone around it in line. Making sure they get up early and not do anything they shouldn't be doing. Auren felt a little restricted by this Pokemon, but his mom seemed to feel more comfortable with it being with him, so he agreed to take it in. He may clash with it a little, but he knows its intentions are good, so he does give in.
Another one that came to him was a Miltank. Though this time, instead of through the daycare, his mom had saved the money to buy him the gal. They weren't sure of how her personality would be but they had good word from the breeders, even if she was still young when they received her. Turns out she was very motherly and calm. The little Drilbur quickly warmed up for her, although her being young and smallish helped with that. Auren came to see that she would be a great extra set of eyes and that her calm aura would come in handy.
Finally being content with his little party, his mom helped him find a place and start his adventures. He kind of rushed with all of this...barely furnishing his home before taking off and going out. With a hearty good-bye to his family and daycare friends, he went on to begin the steps to his journey~
